Course Overview

The Intermediate Handgun Training Course is designed to expand on fundamental shooting skills by introducing dynamic movement, alternate shooting positions, and advanced firearm handling techniques.  Participants will engage targets from standing, kneeling, and prone positions at various distances up to 25 yards.

This course integrates shooting while moving, shooting from retention, hostage drills, and one-handed handgun operation during practical live-fire exercises. The course will also cover ammunition management (loading/unloading and reloading techniques) and malfunction clearance techniques.

Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion.

Basic Handgun Training Course

Prerequisites may be waived for participants with equivalent training or experience, subject to instructor approval.
